Acted for Energy China TEPC in relation to their solar plant projects in Malaysia, amongst others, the 50MWAC Solar PV Project in Kuala Ketil, Kedah, Malaysia. The Kuala Ketil Solar Farm is one of the largest LSS (large scale solar) photovoltaic plants in Malaysia which had achieved commercial operation on 25 February 2019 and was officially launched in September 2019.

Acted as the Malaysian Counsel alongside Vovan & Associés Co., Ltd. for Tauzia in connection with the FOX Lite Hotel DPulze in Cyberjaya, Malaysia by Ascott.

Acted for TAEL Partners in relation to one of its proposed investments in Malaysia in 2017.

Acted for Public Investment Bank Berhad for the issuance of Islamic medium term notes by Setia Recreation Sdn Bhd under the Sukuk Murabahah Programme for the amount of RM434.0 Million for the acquisition of five (5) parcels of land in Seberang Perai Utara, Penang.

Acted for Public Investment Bank Berhad for the issuance of Sukuk Murabahah Programme of up to RM250.0 Million by Hua Yang Berhad in year 2017, which was subscribed by Public Bank Berhad as the sole investor.

Acted as the Malaysian Counsel alongside Mori Hamada & Matsumoto for transcosmos inc. (a Japanese corporation listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and involved in business process outsourcing services with over 35,000 employees in 14 countries) in its acquisition and subscription of overall 35% stake in Interbase Resources Sdn Bhd. Interbase Resources Sdn Bhd owns, amongst others, Malaysia’s largest e-commerce marketplace “Lelong.com.my” and a B2C site “Superbuy.my”, and with 6,500 online stores and approximately 2 million registered members. The completion of the transaction in November 2015 saw transcosmos inc. acquiring a 35% stake in Interbase Resources Sdn Bhd and participating as one of the shareholders of Interbase Resources Sdn Bhd together with Interbase Holdings Sdn Bhd and Intervision (Services) Holdings B.V.

Acted as the Malaysian Counsel alongside WongPartnership LLP for MMI Technologies Pte Ltd in connection with its proposed initial public offering on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited.

Acted as the Malaysian Counsel for Orange S.A. in France in its corporate restructuring involving FEIMA Limited in Labuan.

Acted as the Malaysian Counsel alongside TMI Associates for Polaris Capital Group (a Japanese investment fund) in its proposed acquisition of shares in a Malaysian company.

Acted for Epistar Corporation in Taiwan in its investment and subscription for shares in Dominant Opto Technologies Sdn Bhd, which is a subsidiary of D&O Green Technologies Berhad listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Acted as the Malaysian Instructing Counsel for Benkert (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in connection with an agreement to be entered into by Benkert Malaysia.

Acted for Prosernat in France in its acquisition of shares in KPN Gas Technology Sdn Bhd from KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd, which is a subsidiary of KNM Group Berhad listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

Acted for Denka Infrastructure Technologies Pte Ltd in its investment in Malaysia including the setting up of its branch office in Malaysia.

Acted for LEGO A/S and National Petroleum Construction Company in their respective investment in Malaysia including their respective incorporation of the Malaysian subsidiary.

Acted as the Malaysian Counsel alongside WongPartnership LLP for M+W Zander (S) Pte Ltd in its corporate restructuring involving its Malaysian subsidiaries.

Acted for Amway (Malaysia) Holdings Berhad for its renewal of shareholders’ mandate for recurrent related party transactions.

Acted for Covidien Private Limited in Singapore under the Medtronic Group and SPX Corporation in their respective corporate restructuring involving Malaysian subsidiaries, as well as their respective regulatory compliance matters.
